Statistics Canada Workshop on Health Data

This workshop is intended to familiarize participants with analytical capabilities required for working with Health Division cross-sectional and longitudinal microdata files.
Day 1: Overview of Statistics Canada Health Statistics Division’s survey program.
Day 2: Hands-on workshop providing an overview of using the National Population Health Survey (NPHS) data and the variance estimation process using the bootstrap method using Bootvar.
Day 3: Hands-on workshop to familiarize NPHS data users with different longitudinal data analysis methods.
This workshop is sponsored fully by Population and Lifecourse Studies and the Research Data Centre at Western. There is no registration fee. Participants will be responsible for their own lunch arrangements.
