Canadian Research Data Centre Network

The current five year award from SSHRC and CIHR  to the CRDCN expires in June of 2010.  The Network is currently preparing a new application for a further award. Any University currently not home to an RDC site that is interested in joining the Network in its application to the Councils must inform the Network by August 1^st, 2009.

Unless there are exceptional circumstances the expectation is that new RDC sites will begin as Branches of an existing Centre and remain as Branches until the level of activity warrants consideration as a full Centre.
